Can I have it if I recently had Botox or fillers?

Botox or dermal fillers within the past 2 weeks may mean you should wait. Tell us about any recent treatments when you book, and talk with your provider about combining Clear + Brilliant with other procedures.

Important Safety Information

Indication. The Clear + Brilliant system is a non-ablative laser for general skin resurfacing.

You may not be an appropriate candidate if you:

  • Have or may have actinic keratosis, melasma, rosacea, or another significant skin condition (such as skin cancer, active infections, cold sores, open wounds, rashes, burns, inflammation, eczema, or psoriasis)
  • Are predisposed to keloid formation or excessive scarring
  • Have a condition that may compromise your immune system or your ability to fight infections
  • Have a known sensitivity to light, or take medications that make your skin more sensitive to UV or artificial light
  • Are on oral or systemic steroids, or are undergoing isotretinoin acne treatment or taking drugs in a similar class
  • Use retinoids, which should be avoided for at least 2 weeks before and during treatment
  • Have skin still recovering from a cosmetic procedure, such as a peel or laser resurfacing
  • Have had botulinum toxin injections or dermal fillers within the past 2 weeks
